Faculty of Education Won the Title of Football Championship

The Faculty of Education at the University of Zakho organized a 10-day football championship under the auspices of BIFA Company. The tournament witnessed an exciting competition between the participating teams, eventually bringing the teams of the Faculty of Education and the College of Engineering to the final match.The final match was held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil- President of the University of Zakho, Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Kh. Mousa- Vice President for Students Affairs, Dr. Luqman Aziz Abdul Karim- Dean of the College of Engineering, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sherzad Z. Mohammed-Dean of the Faculty of Education.
It is worthwhile to mention that the team of the Faculty of Education achieved the championship title after winning the result 4 – 1. Likewise, both teams won praise for their competitive sportsmanship and fair play.
